As we’ve noted before, the soap genre seems to be really paving the way for new content and webseries on the net. An army of diverse creators looking for opportunities, along with stars from recently canceled network soaps, have created a community of artists, each supporting each other’s projects. Last night, they held their nascent awards show, the 2nd Annual Indie Soap Awards, in New York City. The awards are presented by the website, We Love Soaps, one of the hubs for soaps on the web.

Here’s a complete list of winners, including many multicultural artists. Congrats to all the nominees and winners. Keep up the great work.
