Actress/writer/comedienne Amy Hill returns to the stage with the debut of her new show, LOST AND FOUND, Life as I (K)NEW It.

Hill, known among other things for Tokyo Bound, her one-woman show about growing up as a child of a Finnish-American father and a Japanese mother, performs with daughter Penelope in this show “exploring adoption, single motherhood, multiracial/transracial identity mash-ups, and her continuing struggles to figure it all out in a humorous and honest way.”

Penelope is already a seasoned performer, having performed in A Little Tokyo Christmas and appearing in PSAs,

Mother Amy is a popular figure in the L.A. community, lending her time to various community causes.  An accomplished actress, Hill has appeared in Scrooge, The Cat in the Hat, and 50 First Dates.  She recently completed a run at East West Players performing in the world premiere of Wrinkles with Sab Shimono.  Hill recently worked on the much buzzed-about film White Frog by Quentin Lee.  A popular voice actress, she works on such shows as Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness and American Dad.

I interviewed Hill in December last year when I hosted the red carpet for an event.

LOST AND FOUND, Life as I (K)NEW It. will be performed at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles October 1 and 2nd.
