Are we using sex to entice you to read this?

Considering that Demi Lovato, winner of the 2011 ALMA Favorite Actress in a Comedy award, wasn’t naked or anything, just clad in a dress the color of which is described as nude, you might say so.

Reality/Variety Show or Comedic Personality: George Lopez/Lopez Tonight – We were devastated when TBS pulled the plug on Lopez Tonight, George Lopez’s late night show. The 50-year-old Mexican American comedian was the first Latino ever to host his own late night show. We were happy to see Lopez’s work recognized.

Favorite TV Actor: Adam Rodriguez for his role in CBS’s CSI: Miami

Favorite Supporting TV Actor: Rico Rodríguez for his role in Modern Family. The adorable 13-year-old plays Sofia Vergara’s son in the ABC hit comedy.

Favorite Actress in a TV Drama: Cote de Pablo for her role in CBS’s NCIS.

Favorite Actress in a Comedy: Demi Lovato for her role in Disney Channel’s hit sitcom Sonny with a Chance. For the award, 19-year-old Lovato beat out Naya Rivera, star of Glee.

Demi Lovato Goes Nude at ALMA Awards, Beats Selena Gomez

Demi Lovato stunned at the 2011 NCLR ALMA Awards, hosted at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday night, where the singer-actress showed off her curvy figure in a nude gown, created by emerging young designer Maria Lucia Hohan. Fitting that she looked like such a star, as Lovato ultimately took home the golden statue for Favorite TV Actress for her role as Sonny in the popular Disney series, Sonny with a Chance.

The nude, nearly blush-tinged MLH confection channeled a bit of a Grecian goddess vibe with its flowy, off-the-shoulder draping and romantic aura. Peek-a-boo, skin-baring detail at the sides of the gown added a hint of refined sexiness, which was only complemented by 19-year-old Demi Lovato’s bronzed (but not orange!) skin, her subtle, glowing makeup and her upswept hair.

And despite the rumors, quickly shot down via Twitter, that Demi Lovato is currently dating Nick Simmons, son of KISS rocker Gene Simmons, she stole the ALMA red carpet show by flying solo—without any sign of a guy by her side.

Demi Lovato beat out other popular starlets like Glee‘s Naya Rivera, Victoria Justice, and good friend Selena Gomez (who was absent for the show, due to her concert at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay that night) to snag the American Latino Media Arts Award. According to Celebuzz, Lovato also took the ALMA Awards stage for a special rendition of her latest hit single, “Skyscraper,” which no doubt received plenty of applause.

*BTW, if you don’t know Pitbull, he’s been in the news for settling a paternity suit and being sued by Lindsay Lohan for using her name in a song….
