Whoa. This dude is invisible, and that’s not a metaphor because he’s Asian.
Chinese artist Liu Bolin has been doing camouflage art since 1998. It’s not the only genre of art that he’s well known for; he made an effigy of President Barack Obama in the President’s honor in 2010 (covered by the Huffington Post here). An internationally recognized artist, Liu has had his solo work shown round the world.
Other camouflage works are “Hiding in the City,” “Hiding in Italy,” and “Hiding in New York.”
Now if we could all do art in which Asians are actually visible, that would be incredible.
