Brandon Easton — yes, we will continue to promote the author and screenwriter soon to join Wide Lantern’s WonderCon panel — is involved in an upcoming colloquium at Loyola Marymount University in L.A. on race in comics, animation, and graphic novels .

The Outside the Lines panel will address “issues of diversity, commerce, artistic control, stereotypes, discrimination, aesthetics and pressing debates over the role and responsibility of artists and the comic art and narratives they create.”

The event is February 23.  I’ve created a page on MAPID’s site that includes all the relevant info, as well as a downloadable PDF.
