The Sexiest Show You’re Not Watching has been cancelled. The Catch, which suffered from poor marketing, has been cancelled after two seasons. Starring Mireille Enos and Peter Krause, the series came from Shonda Rhimes’ ShondaLand and was a sexy caper show full of twists, intrigue, and humor. It had an updated Moonlighting feel. Enos displayed her versatility as an actress, quite a different character than her role in The Killing. And Peter Krause has never been more charming.

While Rose Rollins was under utilized throughout the run, Gina Torres was brought in for season 2 to turn up the heat. Unfortunately the show never caught on with the public and last night the news came down that the show would end at Season 2. The season finale aired last night as well.

Did You Know He Was Asian?

Jay Hayden played Danny Yoon, and yes, the actor is part Asian. His character was always the foil, and the actor played the humor well. Hopefully we’ll see him soon. He is the first Asian American male to be in the main core of characters on a ShondaLand show. Yes, Conrad Ricamora is on How To Get Away With Murder and is a regular but is not a main character. Thankfully, his role has increased this past season. Let’s see more API males on TV!

Fans have already started campaigning Hulu to bring back The Catch however there may be some political hurdles with ShondaLand and Disney ABC.
